( ) What’s the best off-road ride that you can buy today? We at The fast Lane Car are lucky to drive a different car every week so we’ve had the chance to drive many (if not most) the best off-road rides on the market. Here are the top 5 off-road rides that we’ve driven in 2011.

  1. You could probably drive all of these trails in a 1950's VW Bug, at least I could. This is a commercial.
I wish YouTube car testers got real and began testing second hand cars like the ones most people drive!!

  2. It's bad enough that most people who haven't driven 4WD vehicles think "off-road" means "tearing up the landscape". Do you have to also say it that way in so many words? All that "helps" do is get more public roads on public land closed to the public.

  3. They are changing it to fit all the pussified mall hoppers that never use it as the truck it is. If you don't like the layout of a truck you should buy a mini van. What a fag. Or you could wear those gay ass sunglasses

  4. What about the Land Rover Defender 90 TD5? Those little landies are a beast off road. They're probably the only 4×4 that can give the Wrangler Rubicon a tough time on and off road. There isn't many Defenders in America, there are tons in Australia where I live though
