  1. Apples and oranges. These two vehicles aren't in the same class. You can't expect the Jeep to be quick from 0-60 the same way you can't expect the VW to be any good on offload trails . This comparison is ridiculous.

  2. you should have tried how far it could've gone. now we don't know. i'm interested in the tiguan and the jeep cheroqee but want to know what they can do without loosing to much comfort

  3. I have a 2015 Rubicon and my coworker has a 2015 Tiguan . My Rubicon is obviously more fun ride. The Tiguan is not as a smoother ride as the Rubicon. I can feel everything on the road on his Tiguan. It's not worth the $33k compared to the practicality of a Jeep.

  4. VW Tig – Wins.  Comfort and Fuel Economy.  Jeep Wrangler – Wins.  Fun Factory, Character, and Brute Power.  Soccer Mom buys the Tig.  Guy that wants to smile buys the Jeep.

  5. Jeep? Shit motors! BEst off-roader in the world??! I don't think so.. I'm afraid that title goes to the Mercedes G-Class -without a doubt and then followed by the Toyota Land Cruiser… Sorry Jeep

  6. I enjoyed this video. I went from a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport Willys Wheeler to a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser to getting a 2015 VW Tiguan 2.0 TSI 4Motion yesterday. So, excited to go gold / mineral collecting in it at my ranch. Love the much lower monthly payments. I just know I am much more limited on ground clearance now but man o man what a hugh increase on highway comfort and MPG and decrease in highway noise and insurance costs.

  7. First off Jasshands….333,000 people disagree with you so shut up and stop telling other people how to do what they love you jackwad.
Now…I've been watching you guys for about a year. I've seen probably 1,000 of your videos(do 1,000 even exist?). You guys are great. And YES…people are comparing these two vehicles. Take me for example. I do more research when it comes to making a big purchase, than anyone I know. And I think out of the box. So as I look for my next car my criteria are, AWD, massive sunroof(if it's an suv), under $25kif new or under $20k if used, a little grunt, and either offroad capability or built for speed. Yes…so my spectrum goes from a G35, Jeep Renegade, BMW X3 35i, Audi A3(wagon) to a VW Tiguan. So please, keep making these "absurd" video's to piss the dumbies off. Because believe it or not, someone out there is comparing these odd pairings.

  8. I hate that you try to see if OFF ROAD cars are auto ban worthy….. SERIOUSLY. Its retarded. If you want a fast car, dont get off road utility cars, get yourself a farrari or lambo or something if you want fast.

  9. If you wanted to compare the Jeep to another off road car, put it up against a Land Rover… Guarantee the Jeep will lose against it Every time. The Tiguan is made for On road driving, with the occasional oh I want to cross a muddy field or something of that nature, not drive up a mountain, of course it won't get that far. It simply doesn't have the ground clearance or the giant tires, the Rubicon is made for that kind of stuff, Tiguan is not.

  10. While we're busy comparing vehicles that aren't in the same class as each other, I'll see your Jeep and raise you a G-Class.  Also, the thumbs up tip, great advice that I'm sure makes you feel smart when you give, but as you were in a newer vehicle with power steering it's pretty moot, you're not going to have that kind of wheel snap in that Jeep.
