The first hill of the Southern Rock Racing event at Rush Offroad definitely caught the drivers attention. Rush Offroad made a pretty good gap that the drivers had to either commit and jump or slow down and crawl. While most drivers cleared it with no problem their were a few who had some wild rides.

  1. I dnt really see how this type of hill climb racing is fair i mean its dirt the more times its been climbed it gets more easy so if your last you should have the advantage over the first guy who went

  2. This is fascinating, I never knew that this type of competition existed! Obviously the later guys had the benefit of seeing what lines and techniques worked and what didn’t. Very cool. I’m going to go find more videos of this type of racing now! 👍🏻

  3. As always, Madram has the best videos of these incredible vehicles! Three questions:
    1) Are all of these engines generally naturally aspirated?
    2) Matt Schuessler's (6:56) engine sounds substantially different. Is it a non LS-X V-8, a V-6, or otherwise substantially different from the other V-8 engines ?
    3) Clayton Hollingsworth bouncer (10:21) is mid/rear engine, which seems to require a longer wheelbase. Is this a rare exception or are more people exploring engine relocation?
