Poughkeepsie Gulch Trail – Subaru Forester Off Road

THE SHORT VERSION

– This car does NOT have low range.
– This car was driving up steep terrain at high elevation, so it was down on power.
– The clutch was not trashed as was depicted in the video (at the time, I thought it was).

Yes, this is the short version of the footage. Moral of the story is “Clutch”. Was trying to be delicate with it, but in the end, decided it was time for it to be replaced. We turned around on the trail about a mile from the end as my clutch couldn’t take the loose scree, steep hills and the loss of power from altitude anymore. This car needs low range!

Stock Jeep Cherokee XJ at Hidden Falls Advernture Park OFF ROAD – central Texas Camping Trip

First time out with my 1993 Jeep Cherokee sport. this isnt any serious wheeling, the trip was to test its capabilities in stock form and assess what needs to be done in the future. I was actually very pleased with its performance but it does need quiet a bit of work. The suspension is shot and is all together too low, need some brush guards to protect the shiny paint and some rock sliders to avoid some major damage. other than that its great!
