A Dynamite New Web-Based Reporting Service May be Just What You Need to Check Your Search Engine Rankings
By Robin R. Nobles
We all agree that it’s important to check your search engine rankings periodically. After all, unless you monitor your rankings, you won’t know when pages have slipped in ranking or fallen from the index altogether.
While there are some excellent software programs for checking your rankings, such as our favorite, WebPosition Gold, until recently, there hasn’t been a Web-based reporting service.
But why would you want to use a Web-based service? Let’s look at a few reasons.
Advantages for Using a Web-Based Service
Believe it or not, many people still access the Internet using a modem. If those people have a lot of search engine marketing clients, or if they’re dealing with hundreds (or thousands) of keyword phrases, using a software program could really tie up their resources for literally hours.
While you can certainly run ranking reports at night, that doesn’t mean you won’t be “booted offline” sometime during the night, to where you’ll have to start all over again the next day or night.
Also, if you have a lot of clients, you’ve probably found that ranking reports take up an enormous amount of space on your hard drive. In fact, some companies devote entire computers just to ranking reports.
Another reason for using a Web-based service versus a software program is if you’re in a location where you still have to pay by the minute or hour for Internet access.
Finally, some people like the idea of turning over various search engine marketing functions to someone else, to where they can concentrate on other areas. For those people, Web-based reporting is ideal.
Introducing WebRank (http://www.webrank.com). . . a new Web-based Reporting Service
Besides doing its job quickly and easily, there are two things I look for in a software program or tool: intuitiveness and good customer support.
Like most people in the search engine marketing industry, time is crucial to me, and I have none to waste. WebRank is so easy to use that you can get started immediately, without even having to access the help files. However, to help you get started, they have a “SupportMail” follow-up system, where new subscribers receive little tips through e-mail on how to use WebRank.
And, I found that if I had any questions or problems, their technical support folks answered those questions or concerns quickly and efficiently.
How does WebRank work?
You simply enter your keyword phrases and your domains in your Administration area. The service even offers a suggested list of new keyword phrases in your topic areas, similar to a keyword suggestion tool, which is very handy. You can also add competing domains, then have WebRank compare your rankings to your competitors’.
When you’re ready to see your ranking reports for the first time, you click on the Run Report link. Within minutes, you’re reviewing your rankings across 18 search engines and directories. You can choose to view the ranking reports by domain, by keyword, or by search engine, or you can create custom reports.
Then, once a week (or once per month, depending on your account type) WebRank will check your rankings and generate your reports automatically. Plus, you can choose to run the reports “now,” at any time, by going into your Administration area.
With WebRank, you can customize the service to suit your needs. Do you want to receive reports by e-mail? Would you rather view the reports online? It’s possible either way.
The Email Notification Rules feature is also very handy, because it lets you choose when to receive e-mail pertaining to your rankings. For example, let’s say that you’ve just created a new page. As soon as the page hits a 1-30 ranking, you can choose to be sent an email notification.
Once you’ve gotten your rankings and if they’re not quite what they should be, click on “Increase My Rankings” for a comprehensive resource center that offers information on search engine marketing for do-it-yourselfers or for those who would rather hire a professional.
Also, their “Software Integrated Help System” will check your account periodically and send “smart” messages that will help you with your search engine marketing efforts. This system is designed particularly for beginners.
Another very interesting part of WebRank is the Doorway Domain Manager. Here’s how it works. You decide on a domain name (with help from some handy online tools), then buy it for $19 a year through WebRank. Then, you use their step-by-step wizard to create the doorway site. Within 48 to 72 hours, the domain is live and accessible. You’re then prompted to submit some of your pages through free AddURL pages or pay inclusion programs. Then, WebRank will begin notifying you when the pages have been indexed and what their rankings are. Can’t set up a Web site much easier than that!
If you’re looking for an alternative solution to ranking software, be sure to consider WebRank. Visit http://www.webrank.com and sign up for their free trial, and test drive the service for yourself. You’ll love it!

Photoshop designers are an indispensable piece of the photo makeover. It has opened up new vistas for picture takers and experts whose activity identifies with photograph imaging. The seaward clipping path arrangement has assumed an instrumental part in advancing clipping path services.
The growl on clipping path is a generally new marvel. Worldwide graphic designers utilize this procedure regularly. Yet, the interest of the same isn’t limited to innovation addicts. After all who does not love consummate pictures? Some would contend that with Photoshop close by, immaculate photos are no Herculean activity. Be that as it may, all isn’t as simple as it looks. It requires skill, flawlessness, and persistence to produce alluring impacts. The craft of photo editing goes through a few specialized and esthetical fragments. The experts conceptualize and build up every last picture through different stages.
Alongside the skill, the other element that has come up vivaciously is seaward outsourcing. It has indicated colossal development in the most recent decade and the pattern is setting down deep roots. In the blink of an eye, the pattern has moved from business word to individual circle. Individuals regularly send representations, wedding pictures and other individual pictures to abroad service suppliers for picture remedies. From one to many, the pattern is basically streaming like an overwhelmed waterway.
who requires the service?
In this universe of graphic design, advanced imaging gains bread and margarine for some organizations. Think about a publicizing organization, would it be able to get by without pictures? Shouldn’t something be said about publication making firms? The picture is the foundation of their business. A magazine manager is not any more independent without the pictorial present. Lists and leaflets vigorously rely upon pictures. A decent picture work can spare their day. Sites and plan studios have joined the tribe. Some unavoidable specialized work is contributed behind each flawless snap. So it will not be right to short the picture takers from this rundown.
All the previously mentioned organizations are enthusiastic customers of seaward service suppliers.
The whole procedure of outsourcing is subject to two components. One is quality and the other is taken a toll. Since, it is the universe of visuals, trusting visually impaired collapsed is entirely restricted. Simply peruse through the organization inventory to know the nature of occupation done. After all, observing is, accepting. Ensure that the organization has demonstrated its courage in the past with master treatment of pictures.
Quality is the most imperative slope in picking the service supplier. It is by all accounts significantly more critical when the activity includes mass pictures, just like the situation with the leaflet and index organizations. One doesn’t generally need to pay a powerful cost for sublime quality. The seaward organizations offer minimal effort and give the brilliant outcome. It isn’t a concealed alternate route to altogether cut work cost. Sources say that the costs can sway in the middle of $0.95 to $3.89 per picture, yet it can differ. Seaward organizations can utilize the Internet office to help an immense number of customers.
The FTP is a helpful method to transfer or download numerous pictures together. It is an extremely advantageous approach to do consistent work and furthermore track the progressions when pictures are being handled. These organizations acknowledge FTP exchanges. Pictures are exchanged to the organization through the Internet and the sites enable the clients to download the last picture upon installment. Who says there is no alternate route to progress?

The investigation of Kundalini (Divine Serpent Power) commences with the discussion of the philosophy of Gayatri Mahaprajna. Fundamentally Gayatri worship is an experiment of religious ideology and divine sentiments. In it self-research is given chief importance and by generating devotion through meditation/ concentration, the Brahmic consciousness is brought closer and ones psyche gets interwoven in it. Whether you throw a lighted matchstick on a pile of wood or you throw burning wood on petrol; both actions are identical.
The only difference is that via self-surrender and by undergoing Advait (union with God) one quickly sees miraculous results. Instead of total self-surrender even if there is some desire involved no doubt the car will slow down yet it will ultimately give us benefits. And yet one fails to become capable of benefiting others in the world. A swimmer may himself swim yet he is incapable of helping others cross the river like a boatman. This is the difference between desire-based Gayatri worship and desire less Gayatri worship. Through both type of effort, spiritual aspirants succeed in their own way.
If we dive deep into the philosophy of Gayatri worship we realize that our entire consciousness is influenced by the seed of knowledge of the brain. Its role is a major one with reference to bodily sustenance and social behavior. In a very elevated mental state this center is the fount of extrasensory potential (ESP) and it is over here that the blissful activity of uniting a creature with Brahman (God) i.e. attainment of the true human goal is achieved. Gayatris Brahmi-shakti (divine power) is also called Brahmarandhra, Brahmasansthan or Brahmaloka. The area that it influences it is wisdom consciousness. In a symbolic manner Gayatri is also called Brahmani or the wife of Brahma. Its power can be seen as Brahmadand (punishment) that overcomes the wicked and destroys pain and poverty in the material world. In the spiritual field its form has taken the shape of Brahmavarchas.
Over and above Gayatri worship there is worship of Savitri. Savitri worship is very much the material aspect of Gayatri. Power evolves with the help of energy. The 5 elements and the 5 vital forces of our body work as fuel and with its aid the inner fire is activated. This fire activation is Savitri worship. Despite there being a difference in Savitri and Kundalini (Divine Serpent Power) worship they have an equal stature.
According to Indian mythology Brahmaji had 2 wives. The first was Gayatri and the second was Savitri. Symbolically they are wisdom consciousness and material wealth. One is Para Prakriti and the other is Apara Prakriti. Para Prakriti encompasses mind, intellect, psyche, ego, Ritambhara Prajna (divine intellect) and all other areas of knowledge. The second wife Savitri is Apara Prakriti i.e. material consciousness and inert nature. All movements of matter are dependent on it. The revolution of molecules, influence of chemicals, electricity, heat, light, magnetism, ether etc. are under its jurisdiction. Material science by using all these apparatus comes out with infinite inventions so as to give us material comforts. This Apara Prakriti is Savitri. The Apara Prakriti of Savitri is responsible for the body functioning of all creatures and thus the world evolves. It is this power that directs Sattva, Rajas, Tamas, 5 elements, Tanmatras etc. Sidhis (divine powers) and boons are attained via this power of Savitri. Health, long life, might, enthusiasm, daring, beauty and other infinite special qualities are dependent on it. On the one hand it is widespread yet its main focal point is on the poles of earth (macro level) and the Mooladhar Chakra of the human spine (micro level). While performing spiritual practices this is also called Kundalini Shakti (Divine Serpent Power). All goals are attained by activating this power. Thus we can generate energy. On analyzing scriptural injunctions we understand that at certain places Savitri and Kundalini are said to be synonymous and wherever they are thought to be different, their spiritual practice and goal is also thought to be different. Yet one fact is eternal that the subtle creation of the body and the mode of awakening will always remain permanently the same. The difference ensues only when the reasons of usage of the power are varied.
Actually within Kundalini Yoga, Kriya Yoga is superior. All spiritual practices like Naadi Shodhan (subtle nerve purification), Trinaadi Parimarjan (washing of the 3 subtle nerves), Shatkarma, Chakravedhan (traveling up the 6 Chakras or subtle plexuses) are such that along with meditation/concentration bodily exercises are also given importance. One has to imbibe the strange cycle of the vital force exercises in Pranayam. While activating Kundalini power Bandha, Mudra and Aasan (posture) are given due importance. But in pure Savitri worship one is limited to the periphery of the head region. Sahasrar Kamal (1000-petalled lotus), Brahmarandhra (center on the inner scalp region), materials in the brain are activated. The Brahmarandhra looks after the inner brain area and the external area is looked after by the third eye called the Ajna Chakra. But when spiritual practices of both Savitri and Kundalini are combined then the method of both becomes an admixture and the results too change accordingly. The spiritual practice which we are about to present here is of this variety. Hence we have discussed stepwise the principles and use of Gayatri, Savitri and Kundalini (Divine Serpent Power).
Whenever in the scriptures Brahmas wife is described as one of these spiritual practices know for sure that it has to be taken symbolically. How can the family of a conscious power be like that of human beings? If anyone so wishes he can give the 2 special characteristics of the element fire viz. heat and light as the name of these wives. If this is unpalatable they can be called daughters. This is what is seen in the scriptures. At certain places Saraswati is called Brahmas consort and at other places his daughter. Hence instead of looking at it as a gross worldly fact it should be accepted in a subtle symbolic manner. Soul power is Gayatri, material power is Savitri. The fruits of Gayatri worship involves advancement of soul consciousness, evolution of our character, working for great tasks, high thinking and endeavor for attaining liberation while yet living (Jeevan Mukti). As against this Savitri worship involves awakening of Kundalini (Divine Serpent Power) so as to overcome the latent, distorted state of vital force in the body via its activation. There are two streams of electricity i.e. positive and negative. Only when both unite is there a flow of energy. Only when Gayatri and Savitri conjoin can all the requirements of spiritual practices be realized. With Savitri worship one benefits not only materially but that with its merging with Gayatri worship, ones soul power evolves too. This is the primary form of Kundalini worship. If it is hazy in our psyche, all efforts in this direction are futile.
In the field of spirituality the path of wisdom is called the Dakshin Marg. It is also called Nigam Rajyog, Ved Marg etc. The path of action is called the Vaam Marg, Agam, Tantra, Hatha Yog etc. All obstacles in its way are destructive. As a result there is chaos and destruction. None are happy to hear or read about the fights between demigods and demons. In fact reading it really agitates us. But when both parties together churned the ocean, all the latent wealth of the ocean was attained by both factions. Everyone knows that as a result of churning of the ocean they got 14 jewels. In the same way when Gayatri and Savitri worship are carried out together it is said to be of the level of cooperation between the demigods and demons.
When Shiva married Parvati, their loneliness was warded off. Through their union 2 sons were born. One was Sidhivinayak Ganesh and the other was Kartikeya, the destroyer of demons. One establishes righteousness and the other destroys unrighteousness. Ganesh blesses us with a divine intellect and Kartikeya, with power. Kartikeya has 6 faces. These are also called 6 Chakras (subtle plexuses). This Skand manifestation should be looked upon as the influence of the 6 Chakras related to Kundalini power (Divine Serpent Power).
Kundalini is nothing but the fire power dwelling in our genitals. Shiva in the form of Sahasrar Chakra (1000-petalled lotus at the top of our head) when activated, results in the outpouring of pollen honey which is Shivas Retas (semen). The fire power of Kundalini imbibed it. Six Kritikas (Pleiades stars) ripened it. These 6 Kritikas are the 6 Chakras. Kartikeya with 6 faces nourished by the 6 Kritikas should be looked upon symbolically as the influential result of the 6 Chakras.
What exactly are these 6 Chakras? Where and why do they exist? In which state do they exist? What is its utility? We will not go into great detail of all these questions. The nature of its utility and scientific analysis will be detailed later. Here we are delving into that Kundalini which is for those people who through the medium of material endeavor wish to attain higher states of soul consciousness. Such people are worshippers of divine energy and think that energy is more important. In the battle between demigods and demons, that energy attained by the demons was wasted by them in lowly activities and then by experimenting on Lord Vishnu or another higher soul power, it was subjugated. When Shakti (energy) worship unites with divinity only then does it succeed. Such attainments are eternal and from the long term point of view it proves beneficial for all living beings. The initial success of the demons witnessed by all was like the proverbial illusory mustard seed on the palm. Shukracharya was an expert of Kundalini Science. It was he who taught this science to his demon disciples. Brihaspati has been the preceptor of the demigods. By asking Yogis, men of penance and experiencers of Brahman to worship Gayatri he made them pious in character which was akin to that of demigods. He too taught them Kundalini Science yet his only intention was to augment piousness. Those knowers of the soul who had materialistic problems to overcome were asked to follow Savitri worship over and above primary education. It was by taking recourse to Savitri worship that Dadhichi, Bhagirath, Lomharsh, Shringi, Vishwamitra etc. could solve material problems. No doubt the ultimate goal was spirituality yet the path, rites etc. of the spiritual practice was changed as per needs. Even the likes of Arjun, Hanuman etc. had to calm mundane strife. Even they had to follow Savitri-Kundalini worship which was a materialistic endeavor under the aegis of spiritual science. Even my own spiritual penance was for this very reason and because I walked on the right path, I tasted success.
When Savitri and Kundalini worship are followed in unison the results are miraculous. Electricity works wonders in one flash of a second. Even a dead body is burnt quickly on electronic pyres whereas rice, lentils etc. take a longer time to cook on wooden fire. This path is best suited for one who does not want a spiritual downfall and yet quickly attain his/her goal with the help of a pious character. Pure Kundalini worship comes under the flagship of Tantra and Vaam Marg. When Gayatri, Savitri and Kundalini are combined this Yoga Path is predominantly the Dakshin Marg.
Predominantly the Lord as Varah, Nrisinh, Parshuram etc. has had to face troubled circumstances. Shiva is called Shiva Bholey Baba (innocent God) or Aughaddani (easy to please) but he too created Veerbhadra out of ire against Daksha Prajapati and thus destroyed Dakshas arrogance. This is a very dire event and hence both activities of calming and killing are carried out.
Under specific circumstances incarnations of Goad and other highly advanced souls propel others to do this task so that their own power is not depleted. Vishwamitra was capable of protecting his own Yajna but in order that his own soul force does not get destroyed lest he manifest anger, he chose to ask the Kshatriya boys Ram and Lakshman to combat demons like Tadka, Subahu, Mareech etc. Vishwamitra taught Ram and Lakshman all skills of a true soldier and thus protected his Yajna with their help. Samarth Ramdas and Chanakya asked Shivaji and Chandragupt respectively to perform those tasks which could have been executed by them selves. The question here is that Brahman radiance is more valuable. This divine power should be protected for higher endeavors and not wasted in warding off strife. Thus with the aid of a combined Savitri and Kundalini worship ones own and alien strife can be overcome and within limits of aptness, ones wealth power too can be augmented.
With the aid of the power generated by a man following the path of austerities one can change not only others but also churn the subtle world atmosphere so as to transform it for the better. This is a fact. Like other 2 divine powers it can be transmitted to others too. One can ask for divine power from one who has attained it from austerities and thus use it for a higher purpose. This is like taking interest from banks. Just as a wealthy man always donates a part of his wealth to the needy so too a Yogi gives apart of his divine power to apt people who in turn overcome trying worldly circumstances and thus establishes world peace and brotherhood. In a family of previous times the breadwinner was one. Other members kept performing small tasks in the house but it was not necessary that they too earn their own wealth to take care of their requirements.
Awakening of Kundalini Shakti (Divine Serpent Power) is very complicated. It is like playing with lightning. As a result there are chances of losing ones life too. While activating Kundalini if there is lack of proper guidance or capacity we have seen people turning mad too. Many were afflicted with palsy and many died too. If a person tries to learn car driving merely by reading books definitely he will land in deep trouble. Even a person who has learnt car driving will be very careful while driving a car and thus help co-passengers reach their proper destination. Over and above gaining knowledge of Kundalini awakening, attainment of Ridhi-Sidhi etc. one should not become hasty and think this endeavor to be very easy to follow. One should never awaken the Kundalini without the help of a true spiritual guide, Guru or preceptor. One may think himself to be very industrious in jumping the queue and marching ahead but know for sure that such an act is full of danger.
The reason why a very cautious discussion is made on the combined spiritual worship of Gayatri, Savitri and Kundalini is that today people are very much attracted to it. Because its a secret science there is a veil covering it. It is apt and very necessary to understand the principle, nature and social aspect of Kundalini Science. Because when such sciences disappear, an intelligent person attaining the rings of aphorism-directions will construct a chain according to his limited understanding. But if there is no clue at all rejuvenating such a science is very complicated. Hence there is no problem in imbibing important aspects of this science. The problem lies in experimentation. If an arrow of words reverses and makes your own voice its target the result is going to be death only.
By not accepting Kundalini worship as mere superficial rites one should understand that the seeker (Sadhak) should have proper credentials. There has to be a basic spiritual penance which has to be undergone and as far as its application is concerned, leave it in the hands of capable specialists.

Internet marketing strategies are somewhat similar to the traditional marketing and the goals are basically the same. The only difference is that this way you don’t need to leave your room but you will still accomplish great things. It has many challenges, so even though it may sound simple, it is not easy thing to do.
This kind of work cannot be done by an amateur, since it requires great efforts that only professional can direct in the right way. In order for any company to do anything in this field, a thorough strategy should be created and you can’t expect results over night, since it takes time for a strategy to take effect.
Internet marketing strategies use the power of the internet to advertise a product or a service and reach as much people as possible. Having in mind that internet covers whole world, it becomes clear just how many people you will be able to reach. The prime thing that should be done is determining target audience and creating strategy with that in mind. Researching will surely provide you with many useful information, like the websites that your audience likes, the approach they appreciate and the designs they love. Lots of people are interacting with each other via social media platforms all the time. Sharing ideas has become quite a popular activity, and social networking makes it very easy.
Internet users widely use social networking websites, so internet marketers use this potential to advertise products on Facebook and Tweeter. These websites can be used in many different ways because you can create many incentives that will keep everything interesting. If lots of people like the things you do, the information will spread and more people will know about it. A video clip is a great way to provide a personal aspect to your business. Take advantage of YouTube and create an online video that explains to the viewers the way your business may benefit them. The live presentation can produce an even bigger impact on your target audience than plain text on the page. Make sure to encourage them to visit your internet site, you need to include your URL of your website in an easy-to-read format with your video clip and brief description.
Mobile Friendly Websites
Mobile phones are widely used, so you should work on producing a mobile, simple version of your internet site your mobile phone market can easily access. The view port for mobile devices is actually small, consequently simply add the most important information near the top. Make your contact info easily available. Work on providing bonus to shoppers if they add their email to your list. This is an effective way for you to mention special promotions as well as programs that only subscribers can access. Although you should try to be moderate about promotions since no one likes to have dozens of promotion emails every day. Be wise and choose interesting content that will attract the reader who will gladly visit your page and maybe even become a loyal customer.
Just as visible light can be differentiated into differing colors, Reiki can be subdivided into particular frequencies with perceptible changes. For instance, the wavelength that we call Sei Heki is quite cool to the touch, a little like a spring breeze. Conversely, another Reiki wavelength that we call Choku Rei is warm and comforting.
In the original form of Reiki, Usui Reiki Ryoho, four healing frequencies were used. Over time, other wavelengths have been added. Some of these energies are simply the amalgamation of frequencies already known from other healing traditions. Others have been discovered by practitioners in a variety of different ways.
Today, when you go for a Reiki session, you will be receiving Reiki frequencies as learned by the practitioner. In this way, he or she may be using the original four healing wavelengths or a variety of other energies within the range of what we call Reiki or the healing frequencies. Thus, depending upon the practitioners training, he or she will be using slightly different tools than another practitioner. This can create subtle differences in treatment effectiveness.
I have been trained in 36 different forms of Reiki, including Usui Reiki Ryoho. Through personal experimentation and international testing, I have found twelve healing frequencies or sub frequencies from six different Reiki traditions are particularly useful for those suffering from Fibromyalgia. Used in tandem and as part of my Whole Health Therapy for Fibromyalgia program, I call these energies Reiki for Fibromyalgia.
In this way, when receiving Reiki for Fibromyalgia, individuals are not receiving one frequency or type of energy but twelve at one time. Each of these wavelengths is essentially Reiki ranged energies fine tuned for particular purposes such as relaxation, pain relief, reduction of swelling, energy, and mental centering. This makes Reiki for Fibromyalgia both extremely powerful and very effective in the management and treatment of Fibromyalgia and all its associated symptoms.
The world of fashion is exciting. In fact, being a fashion designer is one of the most creative and awesome jobs to do. What are the two skills that you need to be a good fashion designer? You will need to sew well and to draw your ideas. Of course, these will be taught by experts when you enroll in a fashion school. Aside from those two mandatory skills, you will need passion: passion for clothes and design. It would also do you well to be a right brained person because to be a fashion designer requires that you think outside the box and to avoid conformity. Creativity is essential in the fashion world. Other things that you’ll need are determination and a comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry. You need to have a good grasp of the creative side as well as the business side. The next thing to do is to enroll in a fashion design program with a reputable fashion school. This will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge in a structured setting. Professionals will be guiding you in your quest to become a full fledged fashion designer. The following section is the Design Process. It is a core material of what they will teach you in Fashion School. The design process will teach you the steps from the conception of your design to the creation of the garment. The first step in the Design Process is to choose your target market. This means interviewing them so that you’ll understand their fashion needs and tastes. The next step is to know the trends. Fashion is forever trending and changing so it’s important to know what is in and what is not. If you infuse your creativity into what your market what, you will create a successful design that will be well loved. After you have a better idea of what your market wants, it’s time to choose the fabric. You have to do this before you sketch your design because the design depends on the fabric you choose. Make sure the fabric you choose is what your target market loves. Fabric is also dependent on the season you are targeting. It does not make sense to use wool for a summer season. The next step is to sketch now your design. By this time, you will have a good idea already of what your customer is looking for. You will also have determined what an ‘in’ trend is for the season you are targeting. It’s now time to unleash your creativity. Your creativity has to be evident in the design you will sketch. After you have finished your sketch, you will now take measurements. You can choose to customize it for each customer or you can go with the global size standards. If you are only dealing with a few clients, it’s best to give them a personalized service by taking their measurements personally. You then draft your patterns. You will need this to sew a garment. For your test garment for fitting, you will be sewing muslin. Muslin will allow you to modify your patterns when needed. After you try it with your client, you check the fit. Redraft your patterns and use another muslin garment if necessary. When your muslin perfectly fits and meets your customers’ requirements, you then sew the actual garment with the fabric you have initially chosen earlier. The beauty of being a fashion designer is that you continually help people look good and that your creativity muscles are always being stretched. Happy customers will send you referrals along your way. Treat them well and you’re on way to a great career as a fashion designer.

1) The weatherDepressed by the long, dark winters in your home country? Stuck indoors due to endless days of grey drizzle? Thailand’s endless blue skies and warm days can offer a much needed tonic to even the most sun-starved SAD sufferer. It is definitely hot and sunny in Thailand. Bangkok, somewhat suprisingly, boasts the highest average temperature of any city in the world.
In April the temperature in Bangkok can reach over 40C but has dropped as low as 10C. A particularly pleasant time to visit Bangkok is November to December. The temperature being in the more comfortable mid 20s. The hottest time of the year in Thailand in general is April – around the time of the Songkhran water festival. In Thailand the climate tends to vary with altitude – Chiang Mai and other Northern cities experiencing more comfortable temperatures. Thailand does of course have a wet season with rains causing widespread disruption.Thailand can be thought of as having three seasons: hot, rainy and cool. The hot season runs from March to May. The rainy season runs from June to October and the cool season runs from November to February.Generally for sun-starved farangs the sunny climate in Thailand is a very big attraction. It’s fantastic to be able to snorkel in warm, clear seas at a time of year when back in a place like UK people are fogbound and shivering.2) The food Thai food is world famous – and with good reason. There is a good range of different foods available in Thailand and invariably it’s of high quality and delicious. Once you’ve tasted food in Thailand you will very likely get addicted. Even Thai food in restaurants back in “farangland” will just not be the same after tasting the real thing.
As well as a huge variety of dishes available there are an equally huge number of venues of different types. International style dining is available in most hotels and there are chain style restaurants for most food tastes. Anna’s cafe can offer a pleasant dining experience in a restaurant environment that will be more familiar to Westerners. There are several around town. Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Western, Italian are just some of the menus available in Bangkok. Even smaller cities will have a huge selection of restaurants.
My favourite places to dine are the small street side restaurants. They usually just have plastic tables and chairs, some Christmas tree style lighting and ice cold beers. Menus vary but include noodles, soups, rice and seafood dishes. They are also extremely reasonable. A decent meal for two costing in the range 100 to 200 baht depending on extras. There are also low cost eating facilities in places like TOPS supermarket in Central Plaza. You can select your dishes from the selection available and seating is provided. Not the most intimate dining experience but you notice that everyone sitting near you (you will often be the only farang) looks amazingly happy (See Thailand photos for a snapshot). So, eating in Thailand is a great pleasure. Try different dishes, experiment, but watch out for the really spicy dishes!3) Islands and beachesThailand has many famous islands with stunning beaches. There are whole books devoted to Thailand’s wonderful islands and beaches. A lot has been written and said about this aspect of Thailand. Post-tsunami things have been a little more circumspect than in the past. However, there’s no doubt that Thailand has some of the best beaches in SE Asia if not the world. Scuba diving is also excellent and well-catered for, mostly through PADI centres. Snorkelling trips are widely available and typically organised through the hotel or a local agent. You can of course just get your flippers and mask on and start swimming. The organised trips are often worth it as you will be able to access remote reefs and islands where there is a wider variety of marine life. Many other water activities are also available – kayaking, jet ski and of course banana boat! Thailand is a very big draw if you are a lover of water sports. There is also the rather pleasant nature of beach life – even if you can only make it out to the islands on the weekend. There is something extremely satisfying about sitting at a small beachside restaurant sipping ice cold Singha beer and shooting the breeze with good friends. Some of my favourite beaches are Kata beach (Phuket), Ao Prao Resort (Samet), Klong Dao Beach (Lanta) – so many happy memories. 4) The peopleThere is much that can be said about Thai people, their positive attitude to life and their friendly nature. On the whole most Thai people are extremely tolerant and welcoming to foreigners. Thais tend to be very laid back and easy-going, unless offended, at which point they can become stubborn and in extreme cases verbally or physically violent. Even more has been written on the subject of Thai women and their many charms. For the majority of Western men moving to (or visiting) Thailand, enjoying the company of Thai ladies is a major incentive. Thai women tend to be charming, beautiful, slim and feminine – traits that many Western men complain are in short supply in their home countries. Problems can arise with Thai women – usually this comes about because the Western guy has not taken time to understand Thai culture and the Thai way of thinking. This does often lead to unfortunate situations. Mostly these can be avoided – being better informed does help and there is certainly no shortage of advice on this website and on the Internet in general.I have found Thai people to be helpful and pleasant in my travels in Thailand. There’s no doubt that Thai people are on the whole very pleasant to interact with. 5) The cost of livingCompared to the West Thailand has a very low cost of living. For example a fantastic condo with swimming pool, 24 hour security, broadband internet and all amenities can be had in a nice area for typically £300 to £500 per month. However, all budgets are catered for in Bangkok and much cheaper (and much more expensive) facilities are available. One useful tip is, if you can, to get a Thai contact to check out apartments for you prior to your arrival. They can also negotiate much more effectively. On one occasion I was able to get a friend to negotiate a great monthly rate for a top-floor serviced apartment that was HALF the rate quoted on the Internet – a saving of around £500 per month. There are many bargains to be had and no shortage of accommodation in Bangkok. As mentioned earlier food is also very cheap and generally a wide range of products are much cheaper in Thailand than in Western countries. The UK in particular seems to be the ripoff capital of Europe. I usually buy my running shoes and sports clothes when visiting Thailand or Malaysia as prices are often as little as 30% of what I’d pay for the same thing in the UK. Other clothes such as T-shirts, jeans, sandals, shoes, wet suits and so on can all be had at a fraction of what you’d pay in UK.6) The nightlifeThailand’s famous, and some would say infamous, nightlife acts as an giant magnet to men (and women) from all over the world. Sadly Thailand has developed a unenviable reputation internationally as the prostitute capital of the world (or at best SE Asia). The most famous red light areas catering to Westerners include Patpong, Soi Cowboy and Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP) in Bangkok. There is also naughty nightlife to be had in Pattaya, and on the island of Phuket, centered around Patong beach in Phuket town. Unfortunately (or fortunately if your tastes are so inclined), brothels exist all over Thailand, but the vast majority cater to Thai men. Official estimates of sex workers in Thailand put the figure at around 70,000 including 30,000 under 18. Further “official unofficial” (from the police) statistics put the more likely number of sex workers in Thailand at over 200,000. There are also many young ladies who fall into a “grey” area – incidents of college students and office workers freelancing for extra cash on the side are commonplace.Naughty nightlife aside – Thailand, and especially Bangkok has a very lively nightlife. Nothing seems ever to close in the “City of Angels”. Whereas in UK most establishments on the High Street will be close by 5.30pm many outlets in Bangkok don’t even open until that time! There are many pubs, clubs, discos, indoor and outdoor restaurants, cinemas, bowling centres, and shopping malls all open until late. Bangkok is certainly one place where you will never be bored of an evening and the same goes for many of the outlying provinces and islands. 7) The pace of lifeWith our hectic lifestyles in the West we often dream of leaving the rat-race and downsizing into a slower pace of life. Thailand is an ideal location in which to achieve that aim. With the combination of low cost of living and excellent facilities, life can be good in Thailand, some would say better than the West, on very much less money. Whether your inclination is to the metropolis of Bangkok or the quieter outlying provinces, the pace of life and laid back attitude of the Thais can be a refreshing change from the hurly-burly of Western life. Sure, Thailand is no panacea, but there’s no doubt that there are many Westerners living a quietly-contented, low-stress life in Land Of Smiles.8) The cultureThere is so much to see in Thailand. There is a feeling sometimes that once you’ve seen one temple in Thailand you’ve seen them all. Personally I never tire of learning more about Thai history, the Thai people, their religion and beliefs. I never get bored of visiting the wonderful temples and historic sites. Thai culture is fascinating and there are many cultural avenues to pursue in Thailand – Thai dancing, arts and crafts, martial arts, festivals and special customs are endlessly varied and interesting. From Songkhran to Loy Kratong, from Thai silk to Muay Thai, from Ayutthaya to Wat Arun, there is so much to explore and learn about.9) The facilitiesGenerally I’ve found facilities to be of better quality (and cheaper) in Thailand than in the West. Golf courses, cinemas, swimming pools, beach facilities, hotels, restuarants, serviced apartments, and shops are generally very good and provide excellent service. Medical facilites are also very good, clean and with efficient Doctors (but you do pay).
Getting around Bangkok and travelling in general is also rather easy. There is always a motorbike taxi on hand for short trips, or aircon taxi. I’ve also travelled in tuk-tuks, songthaew, skytrain, aircon buses. In many ways getting around in Thailand on public transport is far easier than in the West, where you really do need your own car to conveniently get around.10) The shoppingBangkok is pretty famous for its shopping. The big shopping malls include Central Plaza, Mahboonkrong (MBK) and the new Siam Paragon, but there are many shopping malls in Bangkok and many more under construction. Shopping facilities are plentiful outside of Bangkok too, with most towns having a variety of stores and shopping facilities. One of the big advantages of shopping facilites in Thailand over the West is that they are usually open until quite late (by Western standards). Central Plaza on Rama 3 for example closes around 10pm. Many small shops are also open 24 hours. Seven-Eleven stores are widespread.I’m no great lover of shopping to be honest, but I’ve had many enjoyable shopping trips in Thailand. Whereas in UK it often feels like an ordeal, in Thailand, and especially in some of my favourite malls like MBK and Central it becomes a pleasurable activity that I look forward to. The shopping malls also make great places at which to people watch. I often sit in Starbucks in Central or a coffee shop MBK armed with an iced-tea and my Bangkok Post and just watch the world go by.SummaryThailand is something special, it is a magical place that is much more than the sum of its parts. It is a heady mix of all the above ten items and much, much more. Whether you plan to visit for a holiday, work or retirement Thailand has something special to offer you.
It is about being prim and proper. To some
it is about comfort. People find clothes and shoes fashionable if they
are coated with comfort. There is no point wearing a daring outfit with a
plunging neckline if you feel shy and awkward. You wont be doing
justice to either the outfit or yourself. Fashion has many definitions
and no one can really use a particular term to define it. But whether
you are rich or poor, a sale on fashion will make every human weak in
Clothes were once a basic human necessity. Today it has become a mark
of ones status. People, especially women love wearing clothes that top
the seasons fashion charts. It not only makes them feel good, it also
makes them look stunning. There is a wide variety when it comes to
womens fashion clothing. On a normal sunny day, a woman can look her
feminine best by stepping out in a pair of washed out denims and a
simple t shirt. Jumpers and polo necks look chic with a pair of cotton
pants or denims and can lend a touch of innocence to the entire
ensemble. On a cold winter morning, a trip to the local grocery store or
an evening stroll in the park can be enjoyed with a warm snugly
cardigan wrapped neatly around your everyday clothes. Wearing a simple t
shirt with light coloured cardigans in shades of peaches, baby pinks
and sky blues will give a touch of softness to your entire look.
For an evening out with your friends you could sashay in a dress
which is fitting enough to make you look sultry but not much revealing
to make you look vulgar. For a date, you could team a smart looking
blazer with the same dress giving it a sassy change. And you thought
blazers were just for women perched high on the corporate ladder. Womens fashion clothing
also includes quirky coloured skirts worn with simple shirts and
blouses. A plain light coloured top can be worn with a flowery printed
skirt with a thin necklace holding a pendant. Classic! Jumpsuits are a
fun way to bring out the little girl in you. It looks extremely
feminine, not to mention totally marvellous.
There are so many options to choose from. Depending on your body
types, clothes can flatter your good areas. But choosing the wrong
outfit can highlight your problem areas doing nothing good for you in
the bargain. Sale on fashion
gives you the excuse to shop in bulk explaining to your loved ones that
it is a wise investment. The staggering 50 70 % off on sales can make
any woman drool. Nothing can be better than the worlds most gorgeous
looking dress purchased for half its price.
Is Hypnotherapy FAKE therapy? | Kati Morton
Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy in which a patient is guided into a deep state of relaxation or trans-like state, and once in that state the therapist works with the patient to help them create the change they are looking for in their life. This is done by the therapist using different guided relaxation techniques, visualizations, and even increased awareness of the mental and physical state, all of which help us slip into this trance.
While in this state, a person is able to shut off any outside noise, worry, or distraction and focus in on specific thoughts or tasks. Since this is done in such a state of relaxation, it can be helpful to try out hypnosis as a way to tap into any memories or experiences that may be too painful to recall consciously. Hypnosis is almost always done in combination with regular psychotherapy treatment.
Being in this trance like state makes us more open to suggestion and change, so it’s VERY important that you know and trust your hypnotherapist. Most commonly, hypnotherapy is used for 2 purposes.
1. For suggestion. Meaning that people will seek out hypnosis as a way to have someone help them change a behavior they haven’t been able to change on their own. Such as smoking, overcome test anxiety, or even stop nail biting. Many people have also reported using hypnotherapy as a way to better manage chronic pain.
2. Analysis: Meaning that we would try out hypnosis as a way to explore a very painful root of our issue. For example, let’s say we could never really process through the abuse that caused our eating disorder. Every time it was just too painful and we would dissociate or completely shut down. Hypnosis is another option that can allow us to finally get to the root of our struggles and bring it into our conscious mind.
ISSUES WITH HYPNOTHERAPY
Due to the suggestive nature of hypnotherapy it is actually a very unreliable form of treatment. While many people have used it to uncover repressed memories, research shows that the quality and validity of these newly found memories isn’t very reliable. Hypnotherapy can even create false memories simply because the therapist could lead us or suggest something to their patient while they are hypnotized. I am not saying that that is done on purpose, but being in that vulnerable of a state can allow us to go along with whatever the therapist says.
Hypnotherapy is also not appropriate for anyone with psychotic symptoms such as delusions or hallucinations.
Due to all of these very serious concerns, hypnotherapy isn’t very widely used anymore. While hypnotherapy isn’t brainwashing or a form of mind control, it can lead us to create false and possibly harmful memories, and possibly make our mental illness worse.
It is recommended that anyone struggling with mental illness or mental health issues seek out traditional therapy practices first since they are supported in research and have positive data to support it.
Also, in order for someone to actually be considered a hypnotherapist who can help you better manage any mental health issues you are having they have to be a fully educated and licensed therapist with and then get a certification or license for hypnotherapy. So know that you can ask them what their credentials are prior to making an appt to see them.
Last, know that I am not ruling out hypnosis from helping some of you out there, I just feel it’s important for us to be completely informed and careful when finding the right treatment. Just like I would want you to make sure you like and feel connected to your therapist, I also want you to find safe and effective treatment for whatever is upsetting you.
