Spring is in the (h)air! We’ve taken some time to sit down with Anh and ask him all about this spring’s hair trends!
What beauty trends can we expect to see this spring?
- More and more people are embracing and working with their natural hair texture and Anh thinks it’s amazing! This undoubtedly works in favor of those who don’t want their hair blown out because of either their on-the-go lifestyle or just because of convenience.
- With the wolf cut still reigning supreme, curtain bangs will definitely be in the spotlight, especially since they require minimal maintenance. We’ll definitely also be seeing a lot more shags and long straight hair. Anh has noticed that we’re in a time of full trend re-immersion so certain haircuts that were popular in the 80’s and 90’s are popping up again. He mentioned that it’s very nostalgic to see them all make a comeback.
As it relates to your work, what hair products will we be seeing this spring?
- With there being a focus on a more natural look we’ll be seeing more Wave Defining Creams and lightweight oils such as Milbon’s Humidity Blocking Oil popping up. As of right now, Anh likes to use a Replenishing Mist on the hair because it’s a lighter hair spray treatment and it works well on all hair types. When working with wolf cuts or shags he will make sure to use the Satin Texturizing Cream 3 to bring out the texture in the hair.
- As more and more people find themselves adopting an on-the-go lifestyle, Anh recommends using the Texturizing Sea Mist 3 as great for a quick wash and go. It adds body and moisture as opposed to drying the hair out because it’s formulated with sunflower oil. However, if you’re looking for a lightweight, long lasting hold, especially to keep the hair nice and straight be sure to use the Strong Hold Spray 7.
