This year, “no-makeup makeup” is the new full face. Gone are the days of heavy, full-coverage foundations: Instead, it’s about applying a light skin tint all over and spot covering dark circles and blemishes with a good concealer.

When it comes to concealers, I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for. While I’m all about buying certain products at the drugstore, I always get my concealers at Sephora.

No matter your specific skin concerns, Sephora has a perfect concealer in stock for you. Here are the 5 best concealers at Sephora right now:

5 Best Concealers at Sephora

1. Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer

Kosas revealer super creamy and brightening concealer

I have to start with a recent discovery that has quickly become my holy grail concealer. The Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer is my key to the no-makeup makeup look thanks to its incredible blending power and skinlike finish.

As opposed to my previous holy grail, Tarte Shape Tape, the Kosas concealer has slightly less coverage and a much more natural, radiant finish. It’s 10x better on my undereye circles (no creasing!) and it never looks cakey or fake. It can also be built up to deal with blemishes.

Also, fun fact: this is Hailey Bieber’s favorite concealer. If you follow her, you know how amazing her skin always looks. Tbh, if it’s good enough for her, it’s good enough for me.

  • Product Size: .20 oz
  • Shade Range: 28 shades available
  • Coverage: Medium
  • Finish: Radiant
  • Formulation: Liquid
  • Key Ingredients: Caffeine and Pink Algae Extract: Fights dark circles, puffiness, and dullness; Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides: Hydrate and visibly plump for supple, juicy skin; Arnica and Panthenol: The ultimate skin-calming tool for blemishes and redness.

Recommended For: If you’re looking for a concealer to even out your skin without looking like you’re wearing tons of makeup, try the Kosas!

It’s such a beautiful product that blends like an absolute dream and looks incredibly natural on the skin. It also gives perfect coverage that isn’t too heavy or cakey.

Tbh, it’s the best concealer I’ve ever used (and I’ve pretty much tried them all).

Pros:

  • Blends beautifully into the skin and looks incredibly natural
  • Contains skincare ingredients to improve skin while you wear it
  • Works well on undereye circles, redness, and blemishes
  • Beautiful packaging
  • Vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free

Cons:

  • Not full coverage; more of a medium coverage that can be built up
  • May be too brightening for those who prefer a matte finish
  • Can emphasize flakes if your skin is very dry
  • Takes longer to dry than others on this list

2. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

NARS radiant creamy concealer

The next concealer on our list has been one of Sephora’s best-selling products for years now. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is universally beloved for its excellent coverage and magical brightening effects on the undereye area.

This is one of the most beautiful concealers I’ve ever used, and it’s worth its high price tag for that reason ($31 for .22 oz). It’s super creamy and incredibly brightening, plus the pigmentation is excellent.

  • Product Size: .22 oz
  • Shade Range: 30 shades available
  • Coverage: Medium
  • Finish: Radiant
  • Formulation: Liquid
  • Key Ingredients: Multi-Active Botanical Blend (Magnolia Bark Extract, Grape Seed Extract, and Vitamin E): Hydrates, firms, reduces redness and helps strengthen the skin barrier.

Recommended For: If you’re looking for a concealer that will brighten your under-eyes without creasing, you can’t do better than NARS. It’s similar to Kosas in that it’s ultra-hydrating and easy to blend, with a bit more of a brightening effect that’s perfect for under-eye circles.

Since the two products are so similar, I opt for Kosas since it’s cruelty-free and a few dollars cheaper. However, if you want to splurge, you cannot go wrong with NARS, especially if you’re looking for help with the under-eye area.

Pros:

  • Great coverage but doesn’t feel thick on the skin — easy to blend
  • Doesn’t crease in the under-eye area
  • Very brightening
  • Comes in an impressive 30 shades

Cons:

  • Second most expensive concealer on this list ($31 for .22 oz)
  • Not cruelty-free

3. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer

Hourglass vanish airbrush concealer

Hourglass Cosmetics is a cruelty-free luxury makeup brand that supports animal rights with every purchase. Their products are incredibly high-end and effective, and their Vanish Airbrush Concealer is one of their all-time best-sellers.

This concealer is a true full-coverage product that offers incredible pigmentation with the tiniest drop. It also has a unique blurring effect that truly does create an “airbrushed” look on the skin.

  • Product Size: .20 oz
  • Shade Range: 22 shades available
  • Coverage: Full
  • Finish: Natural
  • Formulation: Liquid
  • Key Ingredients: Contains reflective microspherical powders that diffuse across pores, fine lines, and wrinkles to smooth the skin’s appearance.

Recommended For: If you want truly full coverage, the Hourglass concealer does not mess around. It will cover everything you need in just a few drops, without looking harsh and cakey. The finish leans matte with an interesting blurring effect that does look airbrushed on. And this concealer lasts all day without moving or fading.

This product is definitely expensive at $36 for .20 oz, however, a little does go a long way. In addition, Hourglass is a fantastic cruelty-free company that donates a portion of its proceeds to support animal rights, so your cash is going to a worthy cause.

Pros:

  • Truly full coverage
  • One tube lasts a long time since the product is concentrated
  • Lasts a long time on the skin
  • Blurring effect
  • A percentage of the proceeds go to the NonHuman Rights Project, a nonprofit animal rights organization
  • Vegan and cruelty-free

Cons:

  • Packaging could be better. Concealer tends to build up at the tube opening.
  • More of a matte finish than a “natural” finish; avoid if you want something more luminous
  • Smallest shade range of the products on this list
  • Most expensive concealer on this list ($36 for .20 oz)

4. Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer

Rare Beauty liquid touch brightening concealer

It seems like the entire internet is obsessed with Rare Beauty this year, and for good reason — Selena Gomez’s products are affordable, effective, and perfect for nailing the “no-makeup makeup” look.

Rare Beauty’s Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer is one of the brand’s top sellers, boasting 48 shades and a natural, barely-there finish. It offers just enough coverage to mask imperfections while still looking like your bare skin.

  • Product Size: .25 oz
  • Shade Range: 48 shades available
  • Coverage: Medium
  • Finish: Radiant
  • Formulation: Liquid
  • Key Ingredients: Botanical Blend of lotus, gardenia, and white water lily to help soothe, calm, and nourish skin.

Recommended For: If you’re looking for a concealer to mask minor imperfections while still looking natural, Rare Beauty Liquid Touch is the best concealer at Sephora for the job! While its coverage is not as full as other brands on this list, its finish is so blendable and skin-like — ideal for a natural makeup look. Plus, it comes in an incredible 48 shades!

My favorite thing about this concealer is the price. At just $19 for .25 oz, it’s one of the most affordable concealers Sephora carries and it will last you a long time.

Pros:

  • Least expensive concealer on this list ($19 for .25 oz)
  • Buildable coverage that you can customize to your desired look
  • Incredible 48 shade range!
  • Gorgeous packaging
  • Vegan and cruelty-free

Cons:

  • Doesn’t offer as much coverage as the other concealers on this list
  • Does crease — not the best for oily skin types
  • Doesn’t last as long as other concealers on this list

5. NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer

NARS soft matte complete concealer

If you, like me, struggle with blemishes, then you know that a cream concealer is preferable to a liquid when it comes to covering acne. And the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is the best of the best in this category.

This cream concealer applies like a dream. It’s thick and full coverage, but it blends easily and doesn’t cake up. Plus, it lasts all day long so you don’t have to worry about your blemishes making a surprise appearance.

  • Product Size: .22 oz
  • Shade Range: 30 shades available
  • Coverage: Full
  • Finish: Matte
  • Formulation: Cream
  • Key Ingredients: Peptides: Reduce appearance of wrinkles and pores over time; Hyaluronic Acid: Reduce appearance of wrinkles and pores; Antioxidants (Vitamins A, C, and E): Deliver Daily Defense.

Recommended For: Covering acne. This is the best concealer at Sephora for hiding breakouts, thanks to its excellent coverage and thick texture. While the shade range pales in comparison to Rare Beauty, 30 shades is still impressive and most people will find a match in their range.

Pros:

  • Truly full coverage
  • Thick enough to cover imperfections but still easy to blend
  • Not cakey or drying despite its coverage
  • Lasts a long time on the skin

Cons:

  • No applicator; needs to be applied with a brush or clean fingers
  • Smallest shade range of the products on this list
  • Not cruelty-free
