5 Luxury Watch Trends for 2022  

The luxury market continues to grow based on two general principles. Consumers are looking for a product to invest in and watches bring a value that’s often predicted for growth, based on construction. Watch brands are starting to notice this gap in the market and have started crafting timepieces across a broader spectrum of price points.

3. Catering to a New Consumer

Similar to shifts in the growing menswear market, luxury watch brands now need to consider a new consumer: A Millennial or Gen Z with disposable income, more interest in streetwear and exclusive design-centric collaborations, yet who also wants a sustainably-made product with a transparent supply chain. As a result, brands need to adapt to this buyer.

4. Changes In Design

Demand for sport watches has been on the rise. Yet many luxury sport offerings fall back on classic designs, resulting in predictable construction and minimal variation. As a result, this sector appears the ripest for innovation, in terms of how bands and cases are designed or the features added.
