Demi Lovato continues her streak of epic ‘fits, revealing an all-latex look that paid homage to a classic horror film.
ICYMI, Demi has been on a fashion roll, donning looks that included platform sneakers with a pleated skirt and a colorful take on the “naked” dress trend. Always one to experiment with their fashion, the star posed for an Instagram photoshoot that included pants inspired by the Stephen King novel turned movie Carrie.
Captioning the photo set with “Drop dead, gorgeous,” Demi posed in the all-black latex ‘fit. The custom-made Artemisi Gallery ensemble was worn nearly a week ago, but only made it to Demi’s Insta grid recently.
For the outfit, Demi paired a cropped top with high-waisted pants covered in images from Carrie. They accessorized with huge black platform shoes, tiny sunglasses, and gloves. In one photo, Demi also carried a mini handbag. Based on the ‘fit, it’s clear that Demi definitely has a soft spot for all things horror.
It’s likely we’ll get to see even more of Demi’s looks soon, as they’re currently promoting the release of a new album. The singer’s eighth studio record, Holy Fvck, is set to drop in August. Demi already shared a peek at one of the singles, releasing “Skin of My Teeth,” which they also performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Along with a live performance, Demi took time to chat with Jimmy, revealing that they had sought treatment before recording the new album. “After going through even more stuff last year, I came out of treatment again. I realized, like, I really want to do this for myself and I want to make the best album possible, something that really represents who I am…The easiest way to do something the most authentic is to do it clean and sober,” they said.
